At Hill Country Arts Academy, our summer school program is thoughtfully designed to bridge learning gaps and build confidence as students prepare for the upcoming school year. Open to students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade, this program offers a well-rounded educational experience that pairs rigorous academics with creative exploration.
Daily Structure
Morning Session – Language Arts: Begin each day immersed in language arts, where students work on reading, writing, and communication. Whether your child is an early reader just starting out or a high school student refining their analytical skills, this session is tailored to close academic gaps and instill a lifelong love for language through interactive discussions, creative writing, and hands-on projects.
Afternoon Session – Mathematics: In the afternoon, students dive into a dynamic Mathematics session. Here, the curriculum is designed to strengthen problem-solving techniques, logical reasoning, and real-world applications of mathematical concepts. Activities are customized for various learning levels—from interactive games for younger students to more challenging puzzles and projects for older learners—ensuring each student builds the confidence they need for the academic year ahead.
Weekly Theme Camp – An Excursion Beyond the Classroom
When students aren’t in their academic sessions, they have the option to join our weekly theme camp. With interdisciplinary projects that blend arts and academics, the camp offers a relaxed yet enriching environment. Whether exploring science-art fusions, engaging in musical experiments, or crafting imaginative stories, this camp is the perfect complement to the structured school day, promoting creativity and broadening perspectives.

- Single Session: Attend either Language Arts (morning) or Mathematics (afternoon) for just $65.00 per week.
- Dual Sessions: Participate in both sessions for a full-day learning experience at $130.00 per week.
- Half Day Combinations: Prefer a half day of summer school paired with a half day of summer camp? That option is also available at $130.00 per week.

Fairytales from Around the World - Theater and Creative Writing
Embarking on a magical journey during Fairytales from Around the World Week, participants will be the navigators of their own adventures, traversing the rich tapestries of global folklore. Each day, they'll dive into a new culture's lore, discovering the unique heroes, villains, and enchanting worlds that have been passed down through generations. As they craft their original fairytales, they'll not only enhance their creative writing skills but also gain an appreciation for the art of storytelling. This immersive experience will culminate in a showcase where participants can perform and share their creations, blending the vibrant realms of theatre and literature into a celebration of imagination and diversity.
